Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using iSehat — including the public website isehat.biz.id and the application at app.isehat.biz.id (together, the "Services") — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. By using the Services you also confirm that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and Medical Disclaimer.

2. Eligibility and Account

The Services are intended for individuals aged 18 years and above. Minors (under 18) may only use the Services with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

When you create an account you must:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information;
  • Keep your credentials confidential and notify us of any unauthorized use of your account;
  • Not create accounts in another person's name without authorization;
  • Not register health data of another person without their explicit consent.

3. Service Description

iSehat is a daily health companion application that helps you record, understand, and share health data from home health devices (such as blood pressure monitors and glucose meters). The Services include:

  • Recording and storing health measurements (blood pressure, blood glucose, heart rate, weight, symptoms, medication logs);
  • Displaying structured, rule-based interpretations of your measurements;
  • AI-assisted features: reading numbers from photos of health device displays, the AI Clinical Copilot, and WhatsApp AI education and emergency guidance;
  • Generating 30-day PDF reports to bring to your doctor;
  • Family and caregiver features with explicit consent;
  • Educational content on the public website and blog.

4. Medical Limitations

iSehat is NOT a diagnostic tool, NOT a doctor replacement, and does NOT prescribe medication. The Services:

  • Do not provide a final medical diagnosis (in standard operating mode);
  • Do not prescribe medicine or give dosage instructions (in standard and proactive modes);
  • Do not replace consultation with a qualified healthcare professional;
  • Do not determine emergency conditions beyond deterministic red-flag rules;
  • Must never be relied upon to change or stop any medication — always consult your doctor first.

Health status and interpretation displayed by the Services are determined by structured rules (deterministic), not by AI. AI outputs always pass through the 13-detector Safety Runtime and always include a medical disclaimer. Always consult a doctor for medical decisions.

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for the data you input and for your health decisions. You agree to:

  • Verify all data before saving — incorrect data can produce misleading reports;
  • Follow your device manufacturer's manual when taking measurements;
  • Not rely on the Services for emergency medical decisions; if you experience chest pain, severe shortness of breath, fainting, one-sided weakness, severe confusion, or any emergency condition, call for emergency help immediately;
  • Keep your doctor informed about measurements you record, especially when they appear outside expected ranges;
  • Maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive data you share with family or caregivers.

6. Acceptable Use

You must not use the Services to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation (including data protection law);
  • Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data of other users;
  • Upload malicious content, or attempt to compromise or reverse-engineer the Services;
  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk-copy content without permission;
  • Impersonate other persons, or submit data about other persons without their explicit consent;
  • Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Services.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this section, without prejudice to other rights.

7. AI Clinical Copilot

The AI Clinical Copilot is provided under a safety-first policy:

  • Every AI output passes through the 13-detector AI Safety Runtime v2 and always includes an automatic medical disclaimer;
  • The AI operates in one of three modes controlled by the platform administrator — standard, proactive, or super aktif — with progressively broader AI capabilities (see the Medical Disclaimer);
  • Deterministic red-flag and emergency rules always run before any AI call; in emergency conditions, AI follows the emergency template only and never generates free-form medical advice;
  • The AI is not a substitute for professional medical judgment — you remain responsible for verifying AI explanations;
  • AI chat history is used only to serve you and to ensure safety, per our Privacy Policy.

8. WhatsApp AI

WhatsApp AI features (education and emergency guidance) are delivered through the WhatsApp Business API. By opting in, you agree:

  • Messages you send are processed to generate responses, subject to the same 13-detector Safety Runtime and disclaimer requirements;
  • You will not rely solely on WhatsApp AI for medical decisions;
  • Standard WhatsApp terms of service of your messaging provider apply to the messaging channel itself;
  • You can opt out of WhatsApp AI at any time.

9. Privacy and Consent

Your health data is sensitive data protected under Indonesian law (UU No. 27/2022 on Personal Data Protection). Family and caregiver access requires your explicit consent. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, store, and protect your data, and how to exercise your data subject rights.

10. Plans, Pricing, and Payment

iSehat offers Free and Premium plans. Features and prices may change over time; price changes will be announced in advance and will only affect future billing periods.

If paid plans include subscription billing:

  • Fees are charged in advance for the applicable billing period;
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date;
  • Refunds are handled according to the applicable payment provider policy;
  • Any applicable taxes are the responsibility of the user unless stated otherwise.

11. Intellectual Property

The Services — including software, design, content, trademarks, and branding — are owned by iSehat or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Services, except for your own personal, non-commercial use. Your data remains yours; we do not claim ownership of the data you record.

12. Third-Party Services

The Services may integrate with third-party services (for example, WhatsApp, cloud AI providers, or payment providers). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, but we require them to protect your data to applicable standards.

13. Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the Services for medical decisions;
  • We are not liable for decisions made based on the Services — the risk of use lies with the user;
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;
  • Our total liability arising from the Services is limited to the amount paid by you for the Services in the 12 months preceding the claim, or IDR 1,000,000, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indonesian law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold iSehat harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of third parties — to the extent permitted by applicable law.

15. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, violate the law, or pose a risk to other users or to the security of the Services. Upon termination, we will handle your data according to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute arising from the Services will first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably within 30 days, it will be submitted to the competent court of the Republic of Indonesia.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this website and, where significant, we will ask for your renewed consent within the Services. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
